As an executive coach and a consultant focusing on organizational development and business management, he has helped small and large businesses and dozens of federal agencies over the last 24 years.

Education and Experience

Before starting his own consulting practice in 2009, Tom led projects and consulting teams at several human capital consulting firms in the Washington, DC area. Prior to moving to the DC area, Mr. Boots served as Director of Client Services for a Memphis-based consulting firm specializing in performance-based compensation and coaching systems. Tom earned an MA degree in Human Development from the University of Kansas with an emphasis in organizational behavior management.

Approach to Coaching

When serving as a coach, Tom’s background in behavior analysis enables him to help individuals clarify and leverage their motivations and increase their chances of aligning personal and organizational goals, pinpointing behaviors that lead to success, and improving communication and other critical skills. He has worked with clients in a wide range of industries and with diverse personal and technical backgrounds.
